It is said in the yogic scriptures that cosmic Bliss is constantly raining down upon us and that the only reason that we don't feel it is that we are holding our ego umbrellas above our heads. However, we cannot keep the bliss away forever like this, and to try to do so is as futile as trying to stop the rain.
