It is becoming ever more evident that we live in a unique and dangerous period in history, one where we have the possibility of destroying ourselves and our world, or of attaining some measure of wisdom, and creating a civilization worthy of the name. I have this idea that the Creator of this world had some purpose, and that in this time of crisis we are already experiencing the awakening of a hidden benevolent power that will tip the balance, and ensure the salvation of our world.

Sitting on the broken steps of the earth
waking up the sleeping sky
